WHAT DOES ZERO DO?

ZERO is an OBJECT, inside your computer!
We can "see" him as an object... and as more than that!
But when a computer "looks" at ZERO, it sees JUST what is on the outside.
That's because dumb computers are not as smart as people!
When a computer "looks" at ZERO, it's like when YOU look at the OUTSIDE of objects in your room, right now.
Is there a can of pop in your room? Is it full or empty?
Just looking at it, you can't tell what's INSIDE that can!
Maybe the can is empty and it's NOT a "Can of Pop" anymore!

That's the way that ZERO "looks" to a computer!
The computer can only see the "outside" of ZERO!

But WE are special!
We get to go INSIDE of ZERO and find out what a nice "person" he is!
Because what's INSIDE of ZERO is more important-- than what's the "outer shape" of his object!

And that's the way people are too!
Some people are good-looking on the outside...
But sometimes they are NOT so nice on the inside!
It's important to remember that when we meet new people that we don't know yet!

When ZERO "Hitch Hikes" on the "Information Highway" inside your computer,
he travels around... inside ANOTHER object!
This object is like another planet!
It is a place called THE FIBERSPHERE.
The Fibersphere looks like a rain drop!

When ZERO "travels" around the Fibersphere,
he gets to meet other computer objects like him!
That's fun to watch and WE get to go along for the ride!
BUT WATCH OUT!!!

Because, sometimes, the Fibersphere can be a scary place!
There are ALL KINDS of "People Objects" in The Fibersphere!
(just like there are ALL kinds of people:
There are Good People and BAD People!)
In the Fibersphere World of ZERO, the people objects act just like real people in the real world!
This makes adventures in the Fibersphere just like adventures in the real world!
Except that it's safe in the Fibersphere, because it's only an IMAGINARY place...
isn't it?

Sometimes, when ZERO travels around in the Fibersphere, he sees a problem!
Sometimes he'll meet scary people "objects"!
On the OUTSIDE, they are ALL SMILES!!!
Some are called MEGABITES!!! They can't get enough!!!

And wait until YOU see their teeth!!!
They're scary-enough, just playing with gun-objects!

Because we are smarter than dumb computers, we know that--
even if the object has a "Happy Face" it might be a bad person!
And bad people CAN do bad things to good people!
And the same is true of computer objects in the computer world of the Fibersphere! This is why it's important for us to help ZERO, as he travels around the Fibersphere!
We need to help ZERO stay safe from BAD objects!!!

Because, a problem in the World of the Fibersphere... means that
there is a REAL PROBLEM IN THE REAL WORLD!!! And that's where WE live!
Now THAT is scary!!!!!!

YOU know how REAL problems affect REAL people
(like you and your friends and family!) don't you?
Hey... We don't like that, do we?
We want to FIX the problems in the real world...
And make life better for everybody, don't we?

Now you can just IMAGINE what is INSIDE of ZERO!!!
He looks a little a "nothing" on the outside: Just a stupid-looking, worthless (empty) can of pop that somebody (just as stupid) threw-away by the side of the road!
A lot of people think that ZERO is just a piece of trash!
But we know that ZERO has a big heart on the inside!
And that makes us smarter than ANY dumb old computer!)
